When would you prefer to see a sales tax referendum for schools on the ballot?

  1. Special election; I don’t want to wade through a heavy ballot.
  2. he primary in August would work.
  3. General Election; it’s when I vote.
  4. It doesn’t matter, I would vote on this issue whenever it appears on the ballot.
  5. Never. I don’t see the need.
  6. Other.

NEVER!!!

This is typical DEMOCRAT DOUBLESPEAK to RAISE TAXES. You can bet your last dollar that the extra money raised by this TAX will never go for SCHOLASTIC NEEDS.

The toothless tiger called THE SCHOOL BOARD, needs to be eliminated.

A school Supervisor is all that is needed. Direction for the Supervisor should come from LEE COUNTY P.T.A..

The school system needs to go back to basic needs without frills and superfluous classes.

Eliminate School Choice. Busing needs to be determined by regions/proximities adjoining each school.

SAY NO TO INCREASED SALES TAX.

ERoberts: I vote by mail, not because it is convenient but because of disability as the same goes for my wife. If snowbirds are registered to vote here, that means they are registered as full time residents. If they aren't that, then they are violating the election laws.

This is one situation where I think the mail in ballots should not be allowed. This is a local problem that should be decided by local people that pay sales tax here year round. Snowbirds don't give a rats orifice about our schools, and pay far less in sales tax than full time residents, but even that is more than they'll be willing to contribute. They have nothing at stake, but will vote no just so they can save a few precious pennies when they are here. Their motive is nothing but their own greed, so they shouldn't have any say in this.

Not only have a vote on it in the general election, but also allow mail in ballots. I actually don't see a need for this as the money will probably get funneled off to other things and not used for construction.
