Are traffic signals a problem on local roadways?

  1. Yes, traffic lights do not seem to be synched to move traffic.
  2. On some roadways, particularly Del Prado Boulevard and Pine Island Road.
  3. No, it’s not signalization, it’s the amount of traffic on the road.
  4. I don’t know; it seems to be the same everywhere.
  5. Other.

I wonder how the folk here would do with the 4-Way STOP, St Louis style ? ?

When the traffic became really congested, one could be fairly certain that either the signals had been turned ON, or that a Traffic Cop was out there, waving at the traffic.

There was/is a sort of "Chip and Dale" aspect to it ! ! ! . Folks were mostly polite to one another. . BION ! ! ! . Only every third or fourth car actually stopped, the rest followed.

It's many things. Signals, roadways, no freeway in a city of 120 square miles, limited North south, east west through roads.

. But mainly it's the NUTS BEHIND THE WHEEL.
