Regardless of what some of our current seated council members would like you to believe, unless the election is fixed, no one person can rightfully predict the outcome of our next election. On a positive note, what we are guaranteed is a new Mayor and that in itself should make every citizen smile with relief. Regardless of who wins on Nov 7th, I strongly believe that either candidate will work effectively at restoring Cape Coral's negative image. They both appear to have a much different demeanor that our current Mayor. Really looking forward to less drama on the dais. Perhaps now, more residents will attend council meetings, especially IF they believe that their voices will finally be heard & that they will not be ostracized for speaking up. The Pledge of Civility MUST work on both sides of the dais.
