Wolly Regular folks? If you are "Regular folks",- then this is a sad country indeed.

I do not think that regular folks will want to claim you as one of theirs.

Give it up you're going nowhere!

Typical of the smug presumptive left wing dingalings.

lwmjr -- The last I heard, The U S A is operated -- for better or worse --under the laws and procedures that WE determine, NOT those which Canadians apply to their lives. . So, why do you suggest that the rules that Canada applies to Health Care have in any way necessarily SOMETHING to do with those we may apply here in the U S A ? ?

Your argument is thus inapplicable to the situation, and so is utterly inane.

As a reader of the law, you need to become much, MUCH more careful in your thinking ! ! !

Is dying while waiting for a procedure also acceptable to you simply because that has become the "Normal" in Canada. If your healthy and only require it for yearly physicals and things like the common cold, its great, but if you have a serious illness or you are over 60, it stinks. If you have a pre-existing, on-going illness with no cure, you suffer while waiting to see specialists and/or get permission to have surgery. The waiting lists are astronomical!

LM, You didn't answer the questions. Do they want a different health care system & what would they replace it with? My Canadian friends are happy with their health care. They understand that the extra it costs them is worth it.

Wolly you missed the truck along time ago. The point is that it DOES NOT WORK no matter who's running it. There are examples all over the world they tried and failed. Single payer healthcare is as much of a disaster as O'Bummer care

Repubslie - Why don't you ask the individual from Canada that you were referring to. The ones I have spoken with complain about the long waiting times and that their sale tax is 15% and higher in Canada. In essence, they must add 15% daily onto every item they purchase.

There are medical horror stories in this country also. Ask the working poor who make too much to qualify for medicaid but not enough to buy health insurance on the open market. It will get worse under Comrade Drumpf.

Law- this is the same thing that is going on and has been for the last 50 yrs in Germany.

Once you get older you are no longer a Priority and you wait,- some times months some times years.

The same thing happens in the UK, the last time I flew here I was sitting next to a young woman from the UK she had a bump on her wrist that happened when she fell, she said that she had to miss her first appointment to see a specialist to figure out what is going on, they rescheduled her appointment for 7 months later. I said that was really long time, she replied," yes specially when you take in to account that I'm a nurse"

The Dems like to play up the euro/Canadian health care system but none have ever lived under it. The real kicker is that all the rich europeans come to the USA for their major healthcare and operations. So if you're rich you get good healthcare out side the country, if not you gat single payer healthcare which *****.

Allen - Suggest you read Repubslie's comment. They referred to Canada. QUOTE "Canadian friends couldn't be happier with their health care coverage." Just pointing out that this is NOT the case with the 55 plus age group in Canada. As you get older, thus requiring healthcare, you are given referrals to see/try other options, rather than the government paying for surgeries. In turn, you suffer as you wait and pop more pain meds. Not something I would want here.

lwmjr -- Is there some immutable natural law that makes all Healthcare Financing Plans work one and only ONE way -- the way you describe ? ? . I have Medicare and I receive services as required.

It seems to me that any such a plan will work according to the rules under which it is defined and operated -- There certainly being no reason for those rules to be as you describe.

Do you not realize how empty-headed you sound ? ?
