What do you think of the proposal to impose a two-year moratorium in impact fees in unincorporated Lee County?

  1. I agree.
  2. I’m opposed.
  3. I ‘d rather see lower fees than a moratorium
  4. They aren’t high enough now.
  5. Other.

Check out what other counties who tried this are doing. Surprise if the never cut they are reimposing them. The 10 million dollar loss estimate the county is making is going to be picked up by who? The businesses? The residential home and property owners? What will be developed more banks, convenient stores, strip malls? We are already $15 million in the hole from an energy drink company that has not brought job #1 into Lee County to stimulate the tax base.

First they need to bring real jobs to the area. Repeating the mess from a few years ago by just to create construction jobs is just plain stupid.
