Frey & Son Homes begins construction of house in Cape

Frey & Son Homes, a Southwest Florida home builder, this week announces that construction has begun on a new inventory home in Cape Coral.

Located at 5129 S.W. 16th Place in Cape Coral, this Key West model will include three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2,094 square feet of A/C living space. Other features in this home include a two-car garage, pool, outdoor living area and many upgraded features throughout. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and an oversized island greet you in the kitchen, while views of the pool and lanai can be found in the great room and living areas.

The Frey & Son team expects to complete construction on this home later this year.

AccuData relocates to Bridge Plaza in Fort Myers

GATES Construction completes new senior living facility

Babcock Ranch home sales up 40 percent in first quarter

Kitson & Partners, developers of Babcock Ranch, reported 107 first-quarter new home sales, marking a 40 percent year-over-year increase for America's first solar-powered town.

Babcock Ranch home sales totaled 31 in March alone, propelling the town to surpass the 600-homes-sold milestone.

The first quarter also marked the announcement that Publix will anchor Crescent B Commons, an 82,540-square-foot shopping center scheduled to open in 2021 at a new entrance to Babcock Ranch being constructed about one mile south of the existing town entrance on Babcock Ranch Road/State Road 31.

Babcock Ranch began marketing new homes in 2017, with the first residents moving into the town in January 2018. Today, Babcock Ranch offers homes from nine homebuilders in seven neighborhoods, including Babcock National, a new gated golf and lifestyle community.
