Your business at a glance:

What you do: Give hope and second chances to young single moms who are desperate. We do this by providing them with a home, opportunities to earn their GED, career training, counseling, childcare and transportation all free of charge.

Unique niche: We provide all the tools a young mom needs right here at the center. "One stop shopping!"

Bragging rights: We have operated our ministry free of government funding since our inception almost 24 years ago. Also, the only government funding our residents receive is Medicaid and Pell Grants for education.

Where you see your business in five years: Encouraging other programs throughout the country to take a more comprehensive approach to solutions for young women in unplanned pregnancies and the homelessness of single moms and their children.

About you:

Describe yourself in one word: Determined.

Hero, role model or mentor: Joan of Arc

Person you'd most like to meet: Jesus! Also the Old Testament Joseph.

Book that changed your life: The Bible.

Best business advice you've ever received: You can only control things that do not involve other people's free will choices.

Biggest risk you ever taken: Building the 5th Avenue campus of Lifeline Family Center.

Personal passion: Helping people realize the hypocrisy of abortion and offering positive alternatives.

Guilty pleasure: Days when I can stay in my PJs until the afternoon!
