John R. Wood Properties acquires Premier Palm Properties in Cape Coral

John R. Wood Properties, a leading local real estate brokerage in Southwest Florida, recently announced the acquisition of Premier Palm Properties in Cape Coral. The office, led by managing broker Jay Richter, will become the 16th location for the Wood firm.

In the last 36 months, the Wood firm has closed over 200 sales in the Cape. It also brokered one of the highest sales prices last year at $1.99 million, and a number of the other million dollar plus transactions. Under the management of broker-owner Frank Ehrhardt, Premier Palm Properties achieved top 50 status in Cape Coral last year out of the 764 companies that were selling in Cape Coral.

Seven agents at Premier Palm Properties will join Ehrhardt, and continue to operate their respective businesses under the John R. Wood Properties brand.

Frey & Son Homes welcomes Van Pelt as new sales director

Southwest Florida home builder Frey & Son Homes has announced that Maggie Van Pelt has joined the team as the sales director for the Cape Coral/Lee County region. GATES Construction builds new Tribby Arts Center at Shell Point in Fort Myers

GATES Construction is building the new Tribby Arts Center located at Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers. The new building will include a grand entrance and atrium, art gallery, practice rooms for musicians, numerous studios for painting, crafts, quilting, stained glass and photography.

The 386-seat, theatre-style auditorium will be one of the main attractions of the build. Additional features include a gift shop featuring artists' works, a French bistro and an English sculpture garden. The project is slated for completion fall 2020. Design Services are provided by Christopher J. Lee Architects.
