Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Liam Vincent Hutt of Fort Myers will be staring as Billy Elliot at the Historic Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut from Sept. 13 - Nov. 24.

"Billy Elliot the Musical" is set in a community suffering from the coal miners' strike 1984/5. The story touches upon tensions between political leaders, community and miners. It brings to light a battle of a boy torn between family expectations and a battle to defy the path laid before him and pursue a passion for dance.

Hutt born and raised in Fort Myers attended Cypress Lake Middle School but currently is enrolled in virtual school.
