Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral has announced the election of the Rev. Timothy James (TJ) Remaley as its associate pastor for Family Ministry.

Faith's seven-member Associate Pastor Nominating Committee conducted a nationwide search to find the right person for the newly created Associate Pastor for Family Ministry position. From the beginning, Remaley stood out from all the candidates reviewed.

Following an online interview and the candidate's visit to Cape Coral for onsite meetings, the committee knew it had found the right candidate. On July 21, he was introduced to the congregation and elected to the position by unanimous vote.

Remaley is married to his high school sweetheart, Megan, who was the director of Field Management at Communities In Schools of Greenville.

They have one son, Layton, who is 2.

The Remaleys indicated that they love going to the theatre, frequenting local coffee shops, searching out new and interesting foods, and cooking and baking together.

Remaley will begin his duties at Faith in early September. He joins the Rev. Doctor Brandi Casto-Waters, newly elected Senior Pastor of Faith, in setting this active and dynamic church on a course into the future.

Built in 1964, Faith was the first church building in Cape Coral and is located at 4544 Coronado Parkway. Traditional services are held Sundays at 8:15 and 11 a.m., with a family service at 9:30 a.m.

Faith Presbyterian is a welcoming, inclusive, and evolving church located in the heart of downtown Cape Coral.
