South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association unveils new logo

The South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association has revealed its new logo representing the organization's purpose to create an increasing vitality to the "heart" of Cape Coral. The logo, created by Celsius Marketing | Interactive, features a mix of subtle hues and bold orange to signify what South Cape has to offer -- both relaxing dining and shopping experiences as well as a vibrant nightlife.

"We wanted something that was uniquely representative of our mission statement," said SCHEA board member JoAnn Elardo. "SCHEA is about building relationships between the hundreds of South Cape businesses and hundreds of thousands of residents and tourists."

SCHEA was formed by a small group of local business owners in 2013. Initially it was created to bring more people to Cape Coral's entertainment district via nightlife events. The not-for-profit now hosts both adult and family-friendly events, including the free-to-attend New Year's Eve Ball Drop and PRIDE Cape Coral.

The association, which operates as its own entity, has also added an annual business trick-or-treat and Easter egg hunt to its calendar, among many other events designed to showcase all respects of Cape Coral's "downtown" area.

Celsius Marketing | Interactive designed the new SCHEA logo at no charge, wanting to help the organization better convey its identity and intentions.

Future goals of SCHEA include a revamped website, increased social media presence and full membership base of area business owners and operators.
