Owen-Ames-Kimball appoints Doster as Project Manager

Owen-Ames-Kimball Company, a general contractor with a longstanding presence in Southwest Florida, has announced the appointment of Fred Doster as a project manager in the company's Fort Myers office.

Doster has more than 25 years of experience in general contracting, construction management and design-build project delivery. He is an accomplished construction project manager with expertise in all phases of new construction, renovations and additions to retail, multifamily, hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, government, healthcare, and educational facilities. He has a proven track record of completing multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget.

As a project manager, Doster led the $27+ million construction of Hyatt Place hotel suites and luxury condominiums in Wilmington, Delaware, and an $18.5 million LEED Silver accredited project for the Delaware City Department of Motor Vehicles. He led planning, construction, and close-out of building projects in Philadelphia, including a $2.8 million renovation of VOYA office building common areas and a $5.1 million Green Chef Food Processing Center renovation.

Realtor Martin earns CCIM designation

The Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association has announced that its board member, Jack Martin of Century 21 Selling Paradise, has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the CCIM Institute.

The designation was awarded during CCIM's mid-year governance meeting in San Antonio, Texas, in April. Martin was among the 171 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Institute's comprehensive examination, the capstone element in the designation process.

To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.

Beck Construction evolves name and introduces new logo

Beck Construction, LLC, a family-owned and operated construction and home services firm with customers throughout the state - especially in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades and Hendry counties - has evolved its company name and introduced a new logo.

Neal Communities completes amenity center at Windsong

Neal Communities, a Southwest Florida private homebuilder, recently completed the 1,317-square-foot amenity center at Windsong, a gated enclave of new villa homes in Fort Myers.

Lee BIA Builders Care earns Senator's Pride of Florida Award

Lee BIA Builders Care has been awarded the Senator's Pride of Florida Award for the nonprofit organization's longstanding commitment to provide quality housing for elderly and disabled residents in Southwest Florida.

Florida Senators Lizbeth Benacquisto (R-Fort Myers) and Kathleen Passidomo (R-Naples) joined Senate President Bill Galvano (R-Bradenton) in presenting the award to Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association.

Accepting the award were Lee BIA Builders Care Executive Director Becky Swift, Director of Client Services and Projects Mandi Wray, Board of Directors President Dan Beiter and Board of Directors Member Michael Reitmann.

Pulte Homes completes Stonewater model at Bridgetown
