Pulte Homes begins construction on model homes at Eagle Preserve

Pulte Homes, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, has begun construction on three models in Eagle Reserve, a new 70-acre gated community of 181 single-family homes centrally located off Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.

Eagle Reserve offers a selection of Pulte's Life-Tested home designs of 1,500 to more than 4,000 square feet. Homes feature opening gathering areas, pro-style kitchens, and functional and flexible living spaces.

Construction is under way on three models that represent the Eagle Reserve lifestyle. Offering three bedrooms and two baths in 1,972 square feet, the Canopy's open floor plan is ideal for entertaining, while a flex space presents opportunities for a home office or guest room.

The Driftwood home design is expected from the low $300s and offers three to five bedrooms and 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths in 2,470 square feet. The expansive first floor blends gathering and dining spaces for maximum functionality, with a game room and bedrooms located on the second floor to optimize privacy.

The spacious Dockside model offers up to six bedrooms and five baths in more than 2,537 square feet of living space. With a separate caf and dining space, along with an optional multi-use loft and a three-car garage, the Dockside affords plenty of room for families of all sizes.

GATES Construction completes new wellness center

GATES Construction has completed the construction of a new wellness center at Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club, one of Southwest Florida's finest member-owned private country clubs. GCM Contracting Solutions names Cox project manager assistant

GCM Contracting Solutions, an industry leader in commercial construction and design-build services, has welcomed Bradley Cox as the company's project manager assistant.

Cox will be responsible for assisting GCM's project manager in all phases and aspects of construction, as well as providing support to field staff.

A native to Dayton, Ohio, Cox joins the GCM team as a student of Florida SouthWestern State College, where he is pursuing an associate of arts degree in business administration. He is expected to graduate in Spring 2020. Upon completion, he intends to continue his studies at Florida Gulf Coast University until earning a bachelor of science degree in construction management.
