Lee County Community Band to present ‘April in Paradise’ Sunday

The Lee County Com-munity Band will present "April in Paradise," its last concert of season, at 3 p.m., this Sunday, April 7, at Cape Coral High School.

Under the baton of Richard Bradstreet, the band will perform Dixieland, lively marches, patriotic favorites, Broadway hits and more. Selections include Satch-mo!, a tribute to Louis Armstrong; Big Band Polka, and The Magic of Andrew Lloyd Web-ber, including themes from "Superstar," "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" and "Phantom of the Opera."

The Lee County Band has been entertaining Southwest Florida audiences since 1885, and enjoys a large, loyal, and enthusiastic audience. Arrive early and enjoy this final concert of the band's 133rd season. Admission is free, though donations are accepted.

The band will resume rehearsals in October, and its first performance of the 2019-20 season will on Nov. 10. All will be at Cape Coral High School at 3 p.m. Cape Coral High School is at 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd., one block north of Veterans Parkway.
