Mardi Gras Beads, Bites and Booze at Tarpon Point Saturday

March 1, 2019
By MEGHAN BRADBURY (news@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

The first Mardi Gras Beads, Bites and Booze will take place at Gather's back alley at Tarpon Point Marina Saturday night.

"It's a street fair, we are recreating Bourbon Street," Gather general manager Jeremy Vincent said.

He said they recently held a party on the rooftop of Westin, a huge event attracting about 1,000 people. After individuals starting asking when the party was going to be held again, brainstorming began for another event.

"We didn't want to do the exact same thing. This will be perfect because it is a perfect alleyway that we can fit a ton of people in and have a good time," he said, adding that they want to think of new fun ideas to draw attention to Tarpon Point.

The Mardi Grass Beads, Bites and Booze will be held March 2 from 5-9 p.m., with a Masquerade After Party starting at 9 p.m. at Gather.

The event is free and open to the public.

Tickets can be purchased for all you can drink, $75, which provides free drinks from 5-9 p.m. The after party is $25 a person.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 239-673-9939.

Soapy Tuna, David Rojas, German Garcia and Patrick Montanari will provide the live entertainment.

Cajun style cuisine will be provided by Cajun Gringos, Rollin Raw, Nevermind, Gather and Marker 92.

The food is for purchase.

Gather is at 5971 Silver King Blvd Suite 116, Cape Coral, FL 33914
