Ida Baker tops Cape Coral, 68-53, in boys basketball

The Ida Baker Bulldogs reached the District 7A-10 semifinals Monday behind Devyn Bradwell's 16 points and 12 points from Blake Donnelly. Ida Baker led 50-30 after three quarters. Malik Kabal of Cape Coral led all scorers with 17 points, and K'ydn Waters scored 11 for the Seahawks. The Bulldogs (9-14), who took two of three from Cape Coral (6-20) this season, travel to face top-seeded and undefeated Port Charlotte (23-0) in Wednesday's 7 p.m. semifinal. The Pirates had a first-round bye in the tournament.

Charlotte 76, North Fort Myers 33: Second-seeded Charlotte will host a district semifinal after ending the Red Knights' season at 4-21. The Fightin' Tarpons (19-7) will play host to Lemon Bay in the semis.

Lemon Bay 74, Island Coast 35: The Manta Rays (15-11) ended the Gators' season at 3-23. Lemon Bay will travel to Charlotte on Wednesday.
