McCann earns BCPA certification

Lora McCann, owner of Peace of Mind Patient Advocacy LLC, has earned the Board Certified Patient Advocate credential. The BCPA designation acknowledges patient advocate professionals who have demonstrated experience and proficiency in the field of patient advocacy. The BCPA credential is built on ethical standards, professional competencies and best practices for professionals who work in the emerging field of patient advocacy and have taken the steps to become certified.

After conducting industry research, the BCPA certification was created to recognize professionals who are committed to ongoing professional development and the attainment of the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs at the highest level.

The exam will be available two times a year. The next testing period is scheduled for March 2019, and registration for that exam session is already open and available on the PACB website at pacboard.org/. The site also hosts news and developments about the organization and information related to exam registration and credential maintenance.

Pain Management Consultants to open two new locations

Pain Management Consultants, PL, an independent private practice, will open two new locations in January 2019 - first in Bonita Springs and then in Cape Coral:

1031 S.E. 9th Place, #5, Cape Coral, Fla. 33990

Pain Management Consultants is now accepting appointments, as well as scheduling consultations and building tours, for the Bonita Springs and Cape Coral locations. Office hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call the Fort Myers location at (239) 333-1177 for availability. For more information, visit FLPainCenters.com.
