Next Yappy Hour Dec. 28 at Fathom's Restaurant

The Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Fathom's Restaurant invite the public to join them Friday, Dec. 28, between 5 and 7 p.m., for the monthly Yappy Hour. This is an opportunity for pets and their owners to enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment.

Fathom's Restaurant and Bar will be providing beer and wine as a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization to receive all proceeds. CCAS merchandise will be available for sale and a 50/50 raffle will be held during the evening. Attendees will also enjoy live music.

Yappy Hour is an ongoing event held the last Friday each month. Each month will have a different theme to be enjoyed by attendees with their pets.

Fathom's Restaurant and Bar, a modern, casual, all-day restaurant serving international cuisine, is located at 5785 Cape Harbour Drive, Cape Coral.

The Cape Coral Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter, will be located at 325 S.W. 2nd Ave., a next to Sun Splash Family Waterpark.

Chiropractor joins Dr. Mel's Wellness Spa

Dr. Mel Youngs, D.C., P.A., has an-nounced one of the newest additions to her healthcare team, Dr. Carrie Lachermeier, chiropractic physician.

Lachermeier graduated with her bachelor's degree and doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic. She is also certified in Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy. She worked for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado in the alternative medicine department for over 11 years as well as having her own wellness practice.

She has over 18 years of experience.

Dr. Youngs' Office is located in downtown Cape Coral and is open six days a week.
