Ralph Elftmann, publicly known as vocalist "Ralph Marco" passed away on October 20, 2018 at Hospice House in Cape Coral, FL of natural causes at the age of 72. The Neptune Society Cremation is entrusted with final care.

Ralph is survived by Sandra Bell, his beloved Significant Other, five children; Elisa Marie Gates, Jennifer Leigh Atkinson, Anthony Michael Elftmann of Glendale, AZ, Steven Elftmann, Terri Barth, Chicago, IL. Eight grandchildren, sister, Vivian Minglin and brother Arthur Elftmann of Glendale, AZ, and lifelong friends Michael Mariani, James Renella, John Friis of Chicago, IL area. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland A. Elftmann of Round Lake, IL, mother, Mary M. Marco of Phoenix, AZ and sister, Johanna Elftmann of Rockford, IL.

Ralph was born on January 02, 1946 in Melrose Park, IL. While originally from Chicago, he resided many years in Southwest Florida. Ralph was the creator of American Stardust, Inc. and the featured act in its shows as well as his beloved CHICAGO HEAT doo wop group. His most sought after shows were those featuring the sounds of Tony Bennett and Ray Charles. At every opportunity he entertained audiences, large and small with his jazz music renditions, focusing on Tony Bennett and his music at every opportunity. His resilience and successful comebacks from personal and medical challenges were legendary for Ralph. Those experiences instilled the depth of emotion reflected in his musical performances.

Ralph also maintained a private studio and was an accomplished sculptor, specializing in Southwest Bronze sculptures. He is also a published Indie author of 'Pork and Beans'. His lifetime encompassed working in several professional trades; almost all allowed him to utilize his creative talents in wood and metal sculpting, design and manufacturing in addition to new construction.

Ralph was a larger than life figure able to make anyone laugh during the best and worst of times. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A Life Celebration is scheduled for November 17, 2018 at Anthony's on the Boulevard, 1303 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33990 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
