Beeker helps lead Miracle to 3-0 win over Palm Beach

JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- Clark Beeker allowed just six hits over 7 2/3 innings, leading the Fort Myers Miracle over the Palm Beach Cardinals in a 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Beeker (2-4) picked up the win after he struck out three and walked one.

Fort Myers scored its runs when Jaylin Davis hit an RBI single in the third inning and Luis Arraez hit a two-run double in the seventh.

Austin Warner (3-2) went seven innings, allowing three runs and 11 hits in the Florida State League game. He also struck out eight and walked one. Andrew Vasquez pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings for his fifth save of the season.

Andy Young doubled and singled for the Cardinals. Palm Beach was held scoreless for the third time this season, while the Fort Myers staff recorded its fourth shutout of the year.

Despite the loss, Palm Beach is 4-2 against Fort Myers this season.
