Hot Flashz, Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens host Easter Egg Hunt

Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens again partnered with Lee County's entertainment troupe, the Hot Flashz, for their 7th Annual Bunny Hop Easter Egg Hunt. The event was held Saturday morning, March 31, at Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens, 4637 Pine Island Road, N.W., on Matlacha Island.

More than 1,000 Easter eggs were hidden.

"This is a very special day for the children of Pine Island and of course, the Hot Flashz puts on a great show," gallery owner Leoma Lovegrove said. "The children really love to look for the eggs and dance with the Hot Flashz."

The Hot Flashz group does the 'Bunny Hop' with youngsters at the Easter Egg Hunt.

The Hot Flashz raise money to help support its primary charities, including Camp Boggy Creek, founded by the late Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.

Camp Boggy Cree is a Florida camp for children with life-threatening illnesses. The group also support Special Operations Warrior Foundation. This organization is located in Tampa and provides full college scholarship grants as well as education and family counseling to the children of military personnel who die in service. They also provide immediate financial assistance to severely wounded military and their families.
