FSW men win 13th straight, now 23-1

Four players scored in double figures as the No. 4 FSW men's basketball team won its 13th straight game, defeating Polk St., 85-64, on Wed-nesday night.

The Buccaneers, who ranked No. 3 in the FCSAA NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll, move to 23-1 on the season (7-0 Suncoast Conference), while the Eagles fall to 6-18 overall and 3-4 in conference play.

Sophomore Tremell Murphy led the Bucs with a game-high 19 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Anthony Murphy finished with 14 points, while sophomore ShanQuan Hemphill chipped in with 13 points and 11 boards. Freshman Tra'Von Fagan 13 points nine rebounds.

The Bucs are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 3, when they host SCF in the second game of a doubleheader with the FSW women's team. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
