'Holiday Stop N Shop' Dec. 2 at New Testament Baptist

A "Holiday Stop N Shop" to benefit Gifts for Hope will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at New Testament Baptist Church, 2805 N.E. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.

Santa will be on site from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bring the kids for bounce house fun, a food truck, and for bargain hunters, shopping with your favorite direct sales companies. This also is a toy drive; donate an unwrapped toy or sponsor a child.

Gifts for Hope annually provides Christmas gifts for local children in need!

29th Annual Gingerbread Craft Fair & Bazaar Dec. 2

The 29th Annual Gingerbread Craft Fair a& Bazaar will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m., at All Souls Episcopal Church, 14640 N. Cleveland Ave., North Fort Myers.

There will be a bake sale, gingerbread treats, outside crafters, jewelry, Christmas gift items and a gift basket raffle.

Church to hold 'Walk Through Bethlehem'

The public invited to walk through the streets of the ancient town of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth! Experience a living re-creation of the marketplace with busy shopkeepers, beggars and Roman guards. Visit the humble stable where Jesus was born and begin your celebration of the beautiful Christmas story!

This is a free event with no reservations required. And, the facility is accessible to all! The hours are Dec. 1, from 5-9 p.m.

This wonderful interactive experience is in the Historic Chapel on the Sanibel Community Church Campus, 1740 Periwinkle Way (next to Jerry's Foods).

First Baptist Church of St. James City 'Seafood Fest'

The public is invited to join First Baptist Church of St. James City for its 8th annual "Seafood Fest" Saturday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be fish, shrimp, clams, hush puppies, cole slaw, and all the fixin's. There will be a live band, bounce house, classic cars and other activities. This event is free and open to the public!

27th Annual Christmas

Carol Sing Tuesday

Celebrate the holidays and help feed the hungry by singing at the 27th Annual Christmas Carol Sing, sponsored by the Galloway Family of Dealerships, Tuesday, Dec. 5, at First Presbyterian Church, 2438 Second St. in downtown Fort Myers, between Lee Street and Royal Palm Avenue.

Admission is free, although organizers request voluntary donations of at least two cans of non-perishable food for The Soup Kitchen, operated by Community Cooperative, and a voluntary cash donation, if you can.

Because of the overwhelming popularity of the event, three sing-alongs are planned at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. The doors will open 30 minutes prior to show time.

The Christmas Carol Sing is a festival of holiday music and family fun.

Faith Assembly of God to present 'The Gospel According to Scrooge' Dec. 8-11

Faith Assembly of God in North Fort Myers will present a production of "The Gospel According to Scrooge," Friday-Monday, Dec. 8-11, at 7 p.m.

There will also be a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

The musical drama takes the Charles Dickens' classic and adds a spiritual component that has always been there between the lines.

Admission is free and Faith Assembly is located at 7101 Bayshore Road.

Church of God of Prophecy's Annual Holiday Bake Sale & Breakfast Dec. 16

Church of God of Prophecy will hold its Annual Holiday Bake Sale & Breakfast Saturday, Dec. 16, from 7-11 a.m.

The breakfast will feature bacon & eggs with biscuit and gravy, or bacon & eggs with pancakes - for just $7. Grits and toast are optional. Orange juice, coffee or tea will also be available.
