Cape Coral Technical College to hold open house, job fair

Cape Coral Technical College is planning two special events in the coming weeks.

On Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the CCTC will hold an open house. Those attending will get a school-wide tour, to visit classrooms/labs and get a chance to meet the instructors. Refreshments will be served.

Then on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 8:30-11 a.m., the school will hold a job expo featuring 30-plus employers, who will be meeting and talking with students and others looking to enter the job market.

Cape Coral Technical College, located at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd., N., provides a number of educational opportunities in such fields as agriculture, business, health, hospitality and technology.

New owner, new name, new stylist at Classic Concepts IV

Kimberly Indyk Inc. is the new owner of the Classic Concepts Family Haircare salon in North Fort Myers. The family hair care salon, at 12 Becker Drive, unit C, also has a new name: Classic Concepts IV.

Kimberly Indyk, who has worked for the salon for over 20 years, recently purchased the business from Donna Debien. Indyk said Debien will continue to work at the salon, along with a new stylist, Gladys Geremonte.

The stylists specialize in precision sheer, razor and clipper cuts; styling; coloring, foil and hair painting techniques; facial waxing; and beards.

Classic Concepts IV is open Monday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is closed Sundays.

SCHEA to hold general meeting Tuesday at Chester Street Center

Representatives of all South Cape businesses are invited to attend the South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association's monthly general meeting Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m., at the Chester Street Resource Center, 4816 Chester St., in Cape Coral.

Job Fair Saturday at Miromar Outlets

The public is invited to the Miromar Outlets Job Fair on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 60 designer and brand name outlet stores and restaurants will have representatives on hand looking for motivated and hard-working individuals for seasonal part-time and full-time employees.

The event is complimentary and will be held in Suite 182, next to GUESS Factory, and in Suite 168, next to kate spade new york.
