The Fort Myers Miracle wrapped up regular season play Sunday with a 7-2 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads.

The loss did not affect the standings in the South Division since the Miracle (42-25, 75-60) clinched the Florida State League second-half title when the second-place Charlotte Stone Crabs lost a doubleheader to the Bradenton Marauders Saturday night. The Miracle will begin the South Division Championship series at Hammond Stadium against the first-half champion Palm Beach Cardinals.

The best-of-three series shifts to Jupiter for Wednesday and, if necessary, Thursday's third game. Tickets to Tuesday's game are $5 for box seats and $4 general admission. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with the first pitch set at 6:35 p.m.

The Hammerheads scored the game's first two runs in the third and fourth innings Sunday. Gunner Pollman' hit a solo home run and the second run scored on a wild pitch by Miracle starter Brady Anderson. Fort Myers tied the game with two runs in the fourth, capped by a Kevin Garcia's RBI-single.

In the fifth, RHP Eddie Del Rosario (1-2) allowed five runs on four hits to put the Hammerheads (33-33) up 7-2. Javier Garcia got the win in relief.
