Cape Coral Daily Breeze

The Cape Coral Police Department is seeking the public's assistance with identifying a motorcyclist who may have been involved in two separate road rage incidents involving a firearm.

According to a CCPD report, on July 21, on Southwest Pine Island Road, a white male, 30-40 years old, riding a maroon motorcycle with a cream stripe, pulled up in a lane next to the victim's car and pulled a black handgun from the front of his waistband and pointed it at the victim. He then put the gun back in his waistband and drove away.

The suspect is described as a tan white male, 30-40 years old, wearing a black vest and jeans. He was driving a maroon motorcycle, possibly Harley Davidson, with cream stripe.

In a separate incident on July 26, police said, on Viscaya Parkway and Southeast 24th Avenue, a male riding a red motorcycle pulled up to the victim's car and pointed a black handgun at the victim. The victim made a U-turn and the motorcyclist also made a U-turn and followed. He then pulled up next to the victim at a high rate of speed which caused the victim to veer off the road and strike a tree. The motorcyclist then sped away.

The suspect in that incident is described as a white male, possibly in his 40s, with a small beard, red dome motorcycle helmet, black jacket with red stripes, red motorcycle with high chrome handlebars.

Anyone with information on the possible identity of this man, please call the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223.
