Storm Smart Industries presented a check to the Collier County Honor Flight for $25,900 to benefit local veterans. The check was presented at the Red, White & Boom! event held July 4 in Cape Coral.

Collier County's Honor Flight program provides local veterans transport to Washington, D.C., to visit World War II and Korean War memorials that honor their service and sacrifices. Support is provided by volunteers and is free to veterans. A single flight can cost upwards of $80,000.

Storm Smart's sales promotion ran through the month of June and included a donation of $100 from each sale going to the Honor Flight Program.
