Pentagon Watch earns accredited member status with NHWA

Pentagon Watch of Cape Coral has earned accredited member status from the National Home Watch Association. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada

David Ciarlillo and Mike Dean are the owners/operators of Pentagon Watch. Both are Cape Coral residents.

Before devoting his time to Pentagon Watch, Ciarlillo served as a property manager in Northeastern Ohio for many years, while operating a successful computer company and serving as a senior network administrator for a large organization.

Dean worked for the fire department for 30 years in Montgomery County, Maryland, before moving to Florida. Once in Florida, he worked for a property management company performing maintenance duties.

Patrick Industries acquires Leisure Product Enterprises, including Marine Concepts / Design Concepts of Cape Coral

Marine Concepts / Design Concepts of Cape Coral and Sarasota recently announced it has a new parent company, Patrick Industries Inc. of Elkhart, Indiana.

Patrick Industries announced May 1 that it had completed the acquisition of Leisure Product Enterprises, LLC. LPE is a holding company with three highly complementary manufacturing subsidiaries under its umbrella: Marine Concepts / Design Concepts, Florida Marine Tank and Marine Electrical Products.

John Burgess, president (business unit director), indicated he is excited to continue the growth of the companies as a business unit of Patrick Industries. Burgess and the rest of the management team will continue to serve in their current roles.

Marine Concepts/Design Concepts, "The Fiberglass Tooling Experts," designs, engineers and manufactures CNC plugs, composite molds (open and closed), and CNC molds for industries including fiberglass boat manufacturers, wind energy, aerospace, transportation, flight simulation and amusement parks. Marine Concepts also produces gelcoat and fiberglass parts and assemblies for both the marine and industrial markets.

Marine Concepts opened in 1976 with the purpose of providing all-in-one product design and development services, and is the industry leader producing tooling and molds for the majority of U.S. fiberglass boat manufacturers.

Pushing the Envelope to host 'Power Hour' May 17

On May 17, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., Samantha Scott, APR, president of Pushing the Envelope, will present "Appeal to the Eye, Engage for the Buy" at the company's "Power Hour" event. Renovation project under way at Edison Mall in Fort Myers

Managers of the Edison Mall announced Thursday that construction has begun on a $4 million renovation project. The renovation will include changes to the concourse and will add a new cut-through in the center of the mall near the Macy's Women's store.

As part of the renovation, Edison Mall will add new retailers, as well as relocate some existing retailers into newly renovated inline space.
