Audubon of Southwest Florida will hold its next meeting Thursday, April 20, at 7 p.m., at 10868 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers.
The program for the meeting will feature "Exciting prospects for studying bird migration in Florida," presented by Dr. Kara Lefevre of Florida Gulf Coast University.
Lefevre is an ecologist, ornithologist and science educator with an interest in exploring the consequences of human activity on biological diversity, including impacts on species distributions and ecosystems functioning. She earned a doctoral degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Toronto Canada, her hometown.
