FDOT to hold public hearing for new rest areas along I-75 in Southwest Florida

The Florida Department of Transpiration, District One, is hosting a public hearing regarding the identification of sites for two new rest areas along Interstate 75 in Southwest Florida. The hearing will be on Tuesday, April 18, at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda.

The hearing will begin with an informal open house at 5 p.m. and the formal hearing will begin at 6 p.m. The FDOT study team will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
