n "Young Genius of the Piano" - Noah Waddell, March 24, at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary. Just in time to brighten spring, award-winning teenage concert pianist Noah Waddell will bring us classical masterworks from Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and more. Waddell, who is from Fort Myers, has been wowing audiences since he started performing concerts at the age of 10. Freewill offering. All are invited to attend.
n Weekly Lenten Wednesday Worship Services will take place from 12:15 - 12:45 pm in Hunt Chapel on March 29 and April 5. All are welcome!
n Community Fish Fry (& Bake) Friday, March 31, from 4:30-7 p.m. The cost is $10 per adult, $6 per child ($30 family maximum). The Memory Makers Big Band will be performing during dinner. Take-out is also available. Tickets on sale in the office during the week and at the door.

Hyssongs to perform at
First Baptist Church of Pine Island
First Baptist Church of Pine Island invites everyone to a concert by the Hyssongs today, March 17, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. No tickets are needed. A free will offering will be accepted during intermission that evening.
Dell, Susan, and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award-winning Hyssongs. Their energetic family ministry combines family vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone) to delight audiences with their Christ-centered message, shared through the powerful medium of music. The group has been singing together as a family for 20 years. In that time, the Hyssongs have received many accolades for their quality, inspirational Southern Gospel sound.
The group was awarded the Singing News Fan Award for 2014 Favorite New Trio at the National Quartet Convention, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They perform annually at Dollywood and Silver Dollar City, and do more than 250 events each year throughout the United States and Canada.

Catholics Returning Home series begins April 17 at St. Katharine Drexel
Catholics Returning Home will be offered April 17 through May 22 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. The six-week series will be presented by lay members of the parish on Mondays from 7-8:30 p.m., in the Faith Formation building.
The sessions are for non-practicing Catholics who are seeking answers to questions about returning to the church. All are invited to join the conversation.

Memory Makers Big Band to perform at Pine Island Methodist Church
The Memory Makers Big Band will once again present an afternoon of music from the Big Band era at Pine Island United Methodist Church Sunday, March 19. The public is invited to enjoy an afternoon of music with Ray North and his friends in the 18-piece ensemble.
The Memory Makers' Facebook page describes the band as, "We play the classic sounds of the wonderful big bands of the '30s, '40s and '50s "
Cake and ice cream will be served at 2 p.m. and the music begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased from church members or purchased at the door. Local missions will benefit.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
seeks donations for thrift store
The St. Vincent de Paul Society, in conjunction with the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help the needy and disadvantaged within the local community. Donations of clothing, furniture, appliances and other household items are what make it possible for the society of St. Vincent de Paul to assist neighbors in need.
Donations enables the society to offer clothing, furniture, appliances and household items at no cost through its voucher program. The store sales help fund the programs and services provided for those in need.
Most small items can be brought in to the store at 2023 Del Prado Blvd., S., in Cape Coral.
