How can I possibly capture my grandmother, "Gam" in a paragraph? She was a force to be reckoned with; a simple paragraph cannot do her justice. She was a fighter. She inspired us to never give up, even when we are against all odds. She was feisty, assertive, and straight forward. She was very generous, smart, meticulous, and beautiful. She loved entertaining, loved to talk, to play cards, to do word puzzles and she loved the beach, pastel colors, the Catholic church, and her Steelers. Helen loved her family with all her heart and we loved her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be deeply missed.
