Air Force Airman Charlie M. Steward graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Steward is the daughter of Bill E. and Kelly R. Steward of Byers, Texas, and Charla R. O'Brien of Ferris, Texas; sister of John E. Steward of Lake City, Fla. and Karey E. Steward of Lawton, Okla.; and granddaughter of Karl Kuehn of Fort Myers, Kay Richey of Chico, Texas, and Burt Steward of Oklahoma City, Okla.
She is a 2012 graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School, Wichita Falls, Texas.
