Interface Financial Group
opens Cape Coral office
The Interface Financial Group, an alternative funding source for small businesses, now has a local office serving Cape Coral, North and Greater Fort Myers, North Port and Punta Gorda.
According to Steve Tate, the principal at IFG's new Cape Coral office, "Where traditional methods of funding result in loans being provided to the business by various lending institutions, IFG purchases select invoices from the company at a discount. By purchasing an asset as an alternative to making a loan, the company gets as much working capital as they need, when they need it. This enables them to grow until the company reaches sufficient maturity to access more traditional methods of funding."
IFG has been providing short-term working capital funding in the form of a unique invoice discounting service since 1972. The company serves clients in the manufacturing, service and construction sectors. Interface operates from a base of franchise offices in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Sea Tow Ft. Myers
provides life jackets
to boating community
On Saturday, June 28, Sea Tow Ft. Myers and the Sea Tow Foundation provided 18 families with free life jackets as a culmination of the Life Jacket Drive they'd been hosting for the month of June.
Sea Tow Ft. Myers' Life Jacket Drive began with the idea of collecting lightly used jackets people either grew out of or no longer needed so they could be donated to others in need of a life jacket for the season. But office manager, Heather O'Brien, was blown away by the community's generosity when she received donations from other local business of brand new life jackets.
Approximately 130 new life jackets were donated by: The Nautical Mile Publication, Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters club, private individuals, Back Streets Sports Bar, Southwest Florida Yacht Club and Cape Coral Marine Police Unit.
In the future, Sea Tow Ft. Myers will continue this work with the Safe Kids Coalition of Lee and Collier County, providing free life jackets to the community to keep, or to borrow through the Sea Tow Foundation's expanding Life Jacket Loaner program.
Sea Tow Ft. Myers will continue the Life Jacket Drive throughout the year. Please drop off donations to the Sea Tow Ft. Myers office, 3725-A Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral. Please call Heather O'Brien with any other questions, 239-945-4820.
