She went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins where met and married her beloved husband, Dr. Murray H. Camner, DVM. She worked lovingly by his side as his surgical assistant, and bookkeeper. She juggled her career with her husband and motherhood with the aid of her mother, Ruby. She was a loving mother who spent many a summer day at White Sands Beach Club in Denver with her four children. She was an active member of Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls and St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1962.

After the untimely death of her beloved Murray in 1976, she moved back to Denver to be near two of her daughters and her parents. In 2000 she moved to New England in the care of her daughter, Soaring, and son-in-law, Bruce; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She loved the changing seasons and spent many a day resting on the porch among the giant maple trees of the Vermont countryside.

In July 2013 she moved to Cape Coral with Soaring and Bruce. In February 2014 she came under Hope Hospice care at home.

She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman with a sweet heart who had a deep conviction to her spiritual life. She loved poetry, music, art and books. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed. All those whose life she touched are forever blessed.

There will be a memorial at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, Calif., on July 12, 2014, after which her ashes will be laid with her beloved husband.

Donations in her name may be made to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.
