Adelaide "Addee" Wall, 92, of Cape Coral, formerly of Berkeley Heights and Flemington, N.J., passed away quietly June 24, 2014. She was the adored wife of the Capt. Frank D. Wall Jr., a Sandy Hook harbor pilot, who pre-deceased her in 2004 after 52 years of marriage.
She was the cherished mother of Frank D. Wall III, and his wife Christiana, of Ghent, N.Y.; Allison Nortier of Pittsburgh; Missy Wall, and her husband Michael Muskalla, of Morriston, Fla.; and Jonathan Wall of Clinton, N.J., and his partner John Kashwick. She was the beloved grandmother of Katie-Jean Wall, Daniel Wall, Adelaide Nortier and Michelle Nortier.
Raised near Hudson, N.Y., she worked as a secretary and stenographer for 12 years at Catholic Charities and Wood Struthers Pine Street Fund in Manhattan. After marriage, she became a stay-at-home mom. When her youngest child entered high school, she trained and worked as a periodontist assistant until retiring with her husband to Florida. Over the years, she volunteered for the scouts, the local library and at Lee Memorial Hospital. A former parishioner of Faith Lutheran Church, Murray Hill, N.J., she later joined Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Coral,, where she enjoyed participating in the alter guild.

With a wry sense of humor, she spent her last years reading mysteries, working out at the gym and "fretting" about her family.
Donations may be sent in her memory to Haven Hospice of Chiefland, Fla., or your local hospice.
