Nocera Photographic has announced that Nocera Summer Nights Gallery, a fine art photographic gallery, is now open during summer evenings at 419 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral, directly across from the entrance to Sun Splash.
Cherilyn Nocera has been running a master photography studio in Cape Coral for the last 25 years. Cathy Nocera, Cherilyn's mother, is the studio's photoshop art expert. Cathy stated, "My dream has always been to put together a photography gallery. I've been teaching Photoshop workshops to aspiring artists and photographers and I've seen so much local talent. I really felt now was the time. I've always felt that art should be affordable to all. Art should make your life more meaningful and happy."
The gallery features local artists. The original framed photography art primarily ranges from $25 to $500.
“Captivating Sunset” by photographer Sean Allen at the gallery.
One of the artists being shown is Joseph C. Parisi, photographer. He finds working in black and white has its own particular charm. The photo he selected to show in the gallery is "Sampling the Product," a man savoring a Cuban cigar. He took the photo while visiting Little Havana in Miami. He was able to get the character and flavor of the area. He has a whole series of award-winning photos actually taken in Havana, Cuba, as well.
Sean Allen, another highlighted artist, is an internationally known award-winning photographer specializing in capturing spectacular scenes found in and around Southwest Florida. The intent of his photography is to capture the views of our paradise from a different perspective.
The gallery will be open from 2-7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Check and credit cards are accepted only.
