Mark Christopher Lennox, 53, a Cape Coral resident since 1991, formerly of Yonkers, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Cape Coral. He was born Oct. 21, 1960, in Yonkers, N.Y., to Joseph and Mary Lennox, now deceased.
He attended St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy receiving two good conduct awards. He was awarded a Ribbon of Battle E from the City of Yonkers for running into a burning building and saving a family. Recognitions include, Sen. Graham for coaching FL AAU 15U team to the National Championship. His years of volunteering as a baseball coach were for the Cape Coral Koza/Saladino Field as well as the AAU team.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Lennox of Cape Coral; his three children, Mark Lennox Jr. of Cape Coral, Jessica Cortez (Matthew) of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Kiley Lennox of Clewiston, Fla.; two sisters, JoAnn Kittelstad (Howard) of Crystal River, Fla., and Janice Bibko (Kenneth) of Clinton Cornors, N.Y.; and one grandchild, Aubree Smallwood of Clewiston, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Joseph and Lawrence Lennox.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 12, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 S.W. 20th Ave., Cape Coral, with Ft. John Deery officiating.
