Elysium Homes hires Arnold
as a new-home sales specialist
Jim Arnold has joined Elysium Homes of Cape Coral and Marco Island as the custom homebuilder's new-home sales specialist, announced company president Irina Prell.
Arnold joins Elysium Homes after recently retiring as the senior vice president and managing director of an investment group at Monroe Bank & Trust in Monroe, Mich. Prior to his banking career, Arnold completed 30 years in law enforcement retiring as a deputy chief of police. Simultaneous to his law enforcement career, he served 30-plus years in the U.S. Marine Corps both on active duty and in the reserves retiring as a chief warrant officer.
Arnold and his wife, Patti, now make their home in Cape Coral.

Construction begins on
amenity center at Lindsford community
D.R. Horton's Southwest Florida Division has announced construction has begun on the amenity center in the new community of Lindsford. Scheduled to open for sales in July, Lindsford provides an opportunity to buy a new single-family home within a gated community off Winkler Avenue, close to I-75, U.S. 41 and the historic River District of downtown Fort Myers.
The new amenity center features a resort-style pool, tennis and bocce courts, lakeside gazebo, dock, fitness center, clubhouse and tot lot.

Local Realtor association participates
in the Believe Tour Celebration and Hope for Homeless
Members of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach will be joining the Florida Realtors leadership team to package meals and fill cases of food for distribution through Meals of Hope to food pantries in Southwest Florida communities.
Association leaders will be attending the District 5 Conference event taking place today, June 20, at the Quail West Country Club, 6289 Burnham Road, in Naples. Part of the conference will be to meet candidates for Florida Realtors offices, and attendees will also be discussing how Realtors can be involved in helping to combat the issue of homelessness across Florida.
During the event, all of the participants will work together to prepare meals for the local Meals of Hope Effort.
The current 2014 Florida Realtors leaders, including President Sherri Meadows, will be packing the meals along with Association President Karen Swanbeck, President-Elect Jason Jakus and volunteers from the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach. The plan is to prep meals beginning at 3 p.m. and continue for about an hour which should make enough meals to feed 20,000 people. Each meal can feed 4 people and will be given to local food banks.
The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach Inc. is a member-based organization of 4,500 members founded 91 years ago. The members are dedicated to serving current and future property owners as we believe that home ownership is the essence of a great community.
Neal Communities make contributions
to children's organizations
