On just two days of rest, Lipscomb pitcher Ian Martinez-McGraw delivered a complete-game victory Saturday afternoon sending the Bisons charging into the Atlantic Sun Baseball Championship Final by ousting FGCU 11-4 triumph.

Lipscomb and Kennesaw State squared off Sunday in the championship game and KSU claimed the title and the conference's automatic bid to the College regional tournament with a 7-1 triumph.

FGCU got into the rematch with Lipscomb by surviving their second straight elimination game with a 10-2 victory over the Bisons earlier on Saturday.

Martinez-McGraw, who threw eight innings on Wednesday, set the Bisons single-season record for innings pitched at 112 1/3. His innings total also leads the A-Sun, while his ninth win of the season ties the program record for wins in a single season.

Lipscomb jumped off to a powerful start with a five-run second inning as Nick Rome picked up the first RBI of the inning by driving in Hunter Hanks followed by Mike Korte's single to bring Josh Lee home. Drew Adams capped the scoring in the second inning with a double of the left field wall to clear the bases and bring the Bisons lead to 5-1.

Four runs in the fifth added the ballooning run total as Rome added to his RBI total with a double down the left field line to score Josh Lee and Hanks. Adam Lee ended the scoring in the inning with a sacrifice fly and push Lipscomb's lead to 9-3.

FGCU's season ends with a 39-22 record and the Eagles' D-I program record for victories.
