Phyllis D. Kindell, 79, of North Fort Myers ascended to heaven Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. She was born March 12, 1935, in Montclair, N.J., a daughter of Thurman T. and Orrie C. (Dorrill) Brown Sr.
A resident of Lee County since 1969, she lived in North Fort Myers for the past 20 years, previously in Cape Coral. She was employed by the Lee County Tax Appraiser's Office for 11 years and had previously worked as a mortgage loan specialist. She truly enjoyed spending time with her Joyful Believers Sunday School Class at McGregor Baptist Church, the McGregor Baptist Church Food Pantry along her friends at Lazy Days.
The wife of David Daniel Kindell, who died in 2003, she is survived by her children, Roger William (Sherry) Hill of Auckland, New Zealand, Kenneth David (Rebecca) Hill of Cape Coral, Keith Douglas (Dianne) Hill of Fredericksburg, Va., and Kathy Lynn (the Rev. Charles "Buddy") Parrish of Athens, Ga.; and her loving 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral.
