Hauck receives CFSP designation

Timothy A. Hauck, CFSP, a funeral director with Fuller Metz Funeral Home in Cape Coral, recently qualified for recertification for the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

A number of professionals grant special recognition to members upon completion of specified academic and professional programs and "CFSP" is funeral service's national individual recognition.

A select few have distinguished themselves among their peers within the funeral service profession as they continue their education to exceed the highest standards of care. This achievement is especially notable because Hauck has voluntarily elected to participate in quality education and service opportunities that far surpass what the funeral service licensing board in Florida requires.

To initially receive the award, the practitioner must complete a 180-hour program of continuing education activities and events.In addition, the practitioner is required to accumulate 20 hours per year to recertify. Credits are awarded by the academy for work leading to personal and/or progressional growth in four areas: academic activities, professional activities, career review (for retroactive credit) and community and civic activities.

Pushing the Envelope Inc. has hired Diana Leadley as digital marketing coordinator. She will provide a variety of services for clients including social media management, email marketing and online reputation management.

A new resident of Lee County, Leadley relocated from Michigan for the position and holds a bachelor's of arts degree in communication from Michigan State University. She is also a member of the Florida Public Relations Association and is Young Alumni Coordinator for the Greater Fort Myers Area MSU Alumni Club.

Black scheduled to address ALTA Business Strategies Conference

Fort Myers title company, Winged Foot Title, has announced that owner Chris Black was scheduled to make a presentation to the American Land Title Association's Business Strategies Conference in Nashville March 13.

The 2014 Business Strategies Conference is an educational event geared toward title industry professionals. At the conference, title professionals learned more about ALTA Best Practices implementation, tips and strategies for business operations, the latest legislative and regulatory changes to help them remain compliant, and new sales and marketing strategies for their companies.

Black was selected to serve on a panel focusing its discussion on improving the consumer experience throughout the title process. In particular, Black intended to share what Winged Foot Title has done to engage and educate its consumer clientele.
