The Red Sox continued their annual Spring Training Week of Service by lending a hand to members of Cooperative Ministries Incorporated (CCMI), Goodwill of Southwest Florida and the Goodwill Life Institute for Education (L.I.F.E.) Academy, on Feb. 26 at Treeline Elementary and jetBlue Park in Fort Myers.
As part of the CCMI-Backpack Program at Treeline, the Red Sox players filled backpacks with non-perishable food items for students to take home to their families. They also hosted a Q&A session with the students during their after-school program.
Continuing their day of service at jetBlue Park for the Goodwill ABC-7 Clean Sweep, the players volunteered at the community-wide donation drive to support Goodwill of Southwest Florida's services and programs, which provide job training placement, affordable housing, transportation assistance and youth programs across several counties.

Additionally, class members of the Goodwill L.I.F.E Academy had the opportunity to watch the 2013 World Series Champions practice, playing catch and interacting with the players during a lunch break.
