Sun Splash Family Waterpark to open March 8

Slide into spring at Sun Splash Family Waterpark when the Cape Coral attraction opens for the 2014 season Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m. Sun Splash is home to over 14 acres of attractions for visitors of all ages including three thrilling speed slides, a lazy river, Family Pool, several open and enclosed flumes, and a Tot Spot for small children.

During the spring, Sun Splash will be open weekends only plus Friday, March 14, for a "School's Out Day" and every day of Lee County Public Schools' Spring Break from March 17-23. The park will move to a 7-day-a -week operating schedule in late May when schools dismiss for summer break. The 2014 season runs through Sept. 14. Visit www.SunSplashWaterpark.com.

Early Bird season passes are available for purchase from March 1 through April 13 with prices ranging from $54 to $64 for Cape Coral residents and $69-$79 for non-residents, a savings of $20 per pass over the regular season pass prices. After April 13, season pass prices will go up to $74-$84 for Cape Coral residents and $89-$99 for non-residents. All season pass holders receive unlimited admission to Sun Splash during regular operating hours, including Aqua Theatre Nights and Family Fun Nights, as well as reduced parking fees and great discounts on food and merchandise throughout the park. Starting Saturday, March 1, season passes may be purchased in the Administration building at Sun Splash every day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sun Splash Family Waterpark is Southwest Florida's largest waterpark with more than 14 acres of slides, pools, food and fun for all ages. It is located at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd., just 2.5 miles north of Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral, Fla., and is open March through mid-September.
