Victor Marrero drove in two runs with a pair of base hits and Nick Gallant connected for three hits with one RBI to lead Mariner to a 9-1 victory Friday night at Immokalee.

Winning pitcher Michael Patton (2-0) tossed five innings of one-run ball and struck out five. Luis Ferrer added the team's only extra-base hit, a double.

The Tritons (5-0) play a district game Tuesday at Cape Coral.

Cape Coral 10, Golden Gate 0: Cape Coral scored four runs in the seventh inning to seal a shutout victory at Golden Gate Friday night.

Shane McClanahan pitched a complete game allowing one hit while striking out 10 to pick up the win for the Seahawks. Terry Tates had three base hits, including a double and a triple to drive in two runs Scott Dudas , Kyle Arjona and Matt Richey also contributed two hits apiece.

The Seahawks (3-3) host Mariner on Tuesday.

Venice 12, Island Coast 2: Sean Gavitt had three hits and Anthony Churlin singled combining to drive in Island Coast's only runs in Friday's loss at Venice.

The Gators led 1-0 and 2-1 early before the wheels came off. The Gators (3-1) host Port Charlotte on Tuesday.

Fort Myers 5, Charlotte 4: Eddie Duarte and Connor Tomlinson had two hits apiece to back the four-hit pitching of Tim Winter, who struck out five, in Friday's victory over Charlotte.

The Green Wave (5-1) host Gulf Coast on Tuesday.

Riverdale 6, Cape Coral 5: A big four-run third inning staked Riverdale to an early lead and victory Friday night at Cape Coral.

Tyler Tognarine (0-1) took the loss. Dylan Bontrager had two hits to lead the Seahawks with Scott Dudas, Kyle Arjona and Brandon Pryor adding base hits, including doubles by Arjona and Pryor.

Fort Myers 24, East Lee County 0: Grant Boland and Trevor Hume pitched a combined no-hitter Friday night, the team's second of the season, as Fort Myers annihilated East Lee County in five innings.

Zach Lecius and Julious Forbes contributed two hits apiece and a combined three RBI for the Green Wave (4-1). Carter Smith knocked in two runs with one hit.

Boland (1-0) picked up the win with three scoreless, hitless innings and Hume pitched two innings.

Softball

Mariner 15, Immokalee 0: Abby Love and Taylor Henderson led the Tritons' rout of Immokalee Friday with three base hits apiece.

The Tritons play a district game Tuesday at Cape Coral.

Golden Gate 11, Cape Coral 3: Cheyenne Krolczyk drove in two runs and Makenzie Buss had two hits and scored a run in Cape Coral's loss to Golden Gate Friday.

Carly Vilardi also scored a run with one base hit for the Seahawks (3-3), who host Mariner on Tuesday.

Cape Coral 12, Riverdale 9: Makenzie Buss struck out nine batters and went 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, a double and three RBI to lead Cape Coral's victory over Riverdale Friday night.

Danielle Smith added two hits, including a triple, and scored two runs while Ally Slaughter collected two hits and scored twice. Cheyenne Krolcyzck drove in three runs with a pair of base hits.
