Brandon Pryor's walk off single with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted Cape Coral to a 2-1 victory over previously unbeaten Mariner Tuesday night.
The Seahawks, who had just three base hits, opened the game-winning rally on a leadoff singly by Matt Richey. After a strikeout, Richey took second on a wild pitch. Kyle Arjona slapped a fielder's choice ground ball that put two runners on base for the Seahawks. One run scored on a passed ball to tie the game to set up the game-winner by Pryor.
Luis Ferrer (2-1) pitched 6 1/2 innings allowing two hits with eight strikeouts and was charged with both runs. Jose Valmana (1-) earned the win with three innings in reliev of Arjona, who allowed one hit and struck out nine.

Arjona was 2-for-3 for the Seahawks. The Tritons took a 1-0 lead in the third inning and held it until the seventh.
The Tritons (5-1, 2-1 district) play at North Fort Myers on Thursday. The Seahawks (4-3) host Lehigh on Thursday.
Island Coast 6, Port Charlotte 5: Nikko Rodriguez has a solo home run in the fourth inning to help spark Island Coast's victory Tuesday night over Port Charlotte.
Anthony Churlin had two hits and a pair of RBI with Sam Malone adding a pair of hits and an RBI. Zach Lackman's ground ball through the wicket at third base produced the winning run. Quinn Bourque (2-0) won it for the Gators in the seventh inning in relief.
The Gators (4-1) host North Fort Myers on Friday.
Cape Coral 7, Mariner 6: Makenzie Buss struck out eight batters and drove in two runs with three base hits to help propel Cape Coral to a one-run victory Tuesday night over crosstown rival Mariner.
In addition to Buss (3-3), Danielle Smith and Mallory Guerrero each contributed threw base hits. Smith drove in two runs and Guerrero scored two runs. Cheyenne Krolczyk added two hits with one RBI and scored twice.
The Seahawks (4-3) host Lehigh on Thursday.
North Fort Myers 8, Lemon Bay 1: Unbeaten North Fort Myers stayed that way after Monday night's victory over Lemon Bay behind the seven-strikeout pitching performance of Mackenzie Peterson (5-0).
The Red Knights slowly built an 8-0 lead before surrendering their first earned run of the season in the seventh inning.
Marion Reed and Melinda Therion led the Knights with three hits apiece. Reed had a double and drove in two runs while Therion added a leadoff triple. Katelyn Kelly had two hitw tih an RBI and Summer Ackerson two hits with a double and three RBI. Alynn Kayatta added a pair of base hits.
The Knights (7-0), who also routed Port Charlotte 20-1 on Friday, host Mariner on Thursday.

Loretta Purish Invitational: North Fort Myers honored long-time track coach Loretta Purish Tuesday night by naming their track facility after her to honor her 28 years as cross country and track coach for the Red Knights.
Purish dedicated her entire life to running and has made a huge impact on the lives of countless student-athletes throughout her career at the school.
