Jonathan Jimenez was a one-man wrecking crew Friday night for the Cape Coral Seahawks, scoring all three goals in a 3-2 triumph over multiple state champion St. Thomas Aquinas at Dave Warkentin Field.

The Seahawks led 2-0 at halftime as Ryan Mollow and Camillo Avendano assisted on the first two boals by Jimenez. Aquinas rallied to tie the match 2-2 in the second half, but Jimenez knocked in an unassisted boal with 10 minutes remaining for the game-winner.

"It was a nervous final 10 minutes to hang on," said Seahawks coach Aldo Nardiello. "This was one of the biggest wins in Cape Coral history."

Jimenez had the ball on the left wing when the ball went off a defender's leg trying for a slide tackle and past the keeper for the game-winning goal. Seahawks keepers Austin Lachman and Alex Collazo combines for 17 saves in the Seahawks' final regular season match.
