Matt Hurley, CEO of Torchlight Productions Design and Development, announced Tuesday that Chris Berardi, former Cape Coral City Council member, has joined their staff as Community Outreach director.
In addition to serving as Cape Coral City Council Member, Berardi has served on the SWFL Regional Planning Committee , Board of Directors for the Cape Coral Association of Realtors, News-Press editorial board, Cape Coral Civic Association, Lee County Human Services and Affordable Housing committees.
"We consider participation in the community a top priority," said Hurley in a prepared statement. "Those of us that have a vested interest in seeing South West Florida become a vibrant and active region know how important it is to give back to the community. If we can make just a small difference - then that could be contagious. We interviewed several outstanding candidates for this key position. Chris' record of involvement in both the business and civic communities made him the clear choice for our team."

Berardi will now be in charge of organizing and planning Torchlight's participation in events within the local community.
