Allan and Nancy Cotter, the chefs and owners of Slate's Restaurant which has opened in Cape Coral, moved here from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and they bring their passion of creating exquisite food.
Featuring their signature flair of Cajun and Caribbean infused dishes, in a casual, fine dining experience that evokes pure enjoyment the Cotters set about in creating Slate's.
Prior to their arrival in South Cape, the Cotters were the chefs and owners of the renowned "Blue Moon Restaurant and Jazz Club" in St. Croix for 16 award-winning years.

Slate's carries the Cotters' unwavering dedication of serving only the finest fresh, local ingredients with every menu offering being made on site. Slate's venue has been created to meld perfectly five-star tastes with a fun, casual and unforgettable dining experience.
Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m, for lunch and dinner; Saturday, 5 - 9:30 p.m ., for dinner; and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., for breakfast and brunch.
