Koogler Homes' holiday event

raises money for Camp Boggy Creek children's camp

Koogler Homes' Don and Ginny Koogler hosted more than 125 guests in their Marquesa model home in Cape Coral earlier this month with a catered holiday event to raise funds for Camp Boggy Creek children's camp. The "Koogler Kringle Mingle" fund-raiser attracted guests from as far away as the east coast of Florida, and raised more than $3,000.

There were two events on the same day: The first group was Koogler Homes' business associates, vendors and suppliers. The second event later that day was a "Business After Hours" gathering for members of the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral. A silent auction was held at both functions where guests bid on holiday decorations that were used to decorate the home, helping to raise additional donations. Chamber members and others who could not attend the event also donated, using a special feature on the Koogler Homes and Cape Chamber websites.

"I was deeply touched by their amazing generosity of giving for such a great cause," said company owner Don Koogler.
